Reach the target segment with influencers

The entire advertising market, along with most other industries, has greatly suffered from Covid-19. At the same time, however, media usage has moved even more strongly towards the Internet and digital media.

During summer we were able to implement an Influencer campaign for Lausanne Tourism. The goal was to convince as many German-speaking Swiss people as possible to visit the “most beautiful small town in Switzerland”.


The influencers spent several days visiting Lausannes most beautiful side. Amazing content was created for the media. We deliberately call this media. Because not only Instagram posts were published. The Influencers have published platform-specific posts, videos and stories via Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Even on TikTok, content from the Influencers was used for a TopView Ad, with about 1.4mio impressions and 271k clicks on the landing page of Lausanne Tourism.

Since Influencer Content is very professional today, it’s only natural that this exciting and creative content will be used by other media as well. Working with 20Minuten and 24heure has shown this wonderfully through their channels.

Vacations in the #bestsmallcity of the world – Lausanne

Still looking for Swiss vacation destinations for a summer weekend for two, with friends or the entire family? Then Lausanne is the place for you!

As part of the #theLausanne campaign of Lausanne Tourism, 22 Creators were able to take a trip to the #bestsmallcity of the world on three weekends in July. There, the Creators enjoyed a series of exciting activities: On Friday, the Creators went to the Sauvabelin Tower, from where they could see the lake and the city from above and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the Alps. Lunch was served at the nearby L’Esquisse, a nice restaurant in the beautiful Ermitage Park. From there it’s only a few minutes to the Cathédrale de Lausanne and back to the old town. If you would like to have a drink after dinner at the local Café des Artisans, the Flon district, the hotspot of Lausanne’s cultural and nightlife scene, is well served. Locals and tourists alike can enjoy the stores, restaurants, bars, clubs, cinema and bowling alley. For a cozy atmosphere, The Great Escape on the Rue de la Madeleine is recommended.

Saturday is market day in Lausanne: the main street in the old town is closed off to the many market stalls. It invites you to take a leisurely stroll and, with the beautiful old town, to take busy photographs. At noon we took the train to the nearby Lavaux vineyards and UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you can see on Corrine Dörflinger’s photo, at the Domaine Croix Duplex you can enjoy local wine with a breathtaking view on the terrace and enjoy something small to eat. Afterwards, it takes about an hour to walk to the lake, where from April to September visitors can enjoy a range of fun and energetic activities in Ouchy and Vidy. These include water skiing, pedal boating, stand-up paddle-boarding, wake-boarding and kayaking. From there, an idyllic boat trip takes you back to Lausanne.

If you want to explore on Sunday, you can visit the impressive Olympic Museum directly at the lake. Afterwards, as can be seen on the picture by Aliaksandra Dreher, you can stroll to the terrace of the Lacustre with a view of the lake in just 15 minutes to enjoy an extensive brunch and round off the weekend perfectly.

Mexico City comes to your home

The days can seem grey and monotonous in difficult circumstances like a pandemic. Inspired by the vibrant colors, fascinating art and culture of Mexico City, 18 Creators have brought color back to life with the new OPI Summer Collection!

Mexico City is considered one of the liveliest and most colorful cities in the world. The diversity of this mega-metropolis serves as the basis for the current OPI spring/summer collection. The refreshing color palette reflects the dynamic art and fashion scene as well as the jet-set flair of Mexico City’s unusual restaurants and award-winning cuisine.

OPI’nfluencers presented their favorite colors from the OPI – Mexico City collection and introduced their female followers to the creative and inspiring world of OPI. The images, which conveyed the Mexico City feeling and inspired the community in terms of color and style, were in keeping with the spirit of “feel the #swissmexness!

“Colour Splash – you have to take the paint brush into your own hand to bring a little color into your grey everyday life or onto your fingernails. The bright colors of OPI’s Mexico City Collection make my heart beat faster. I ALWAYS wear paint on my fingernails and have already tried almost the entire OPI collection,” writes Minea Jud in her colorful article.

In complementary stories, the colors of OPI were brought to life. Here, OPI’fluencer used OPI’s unique filter option with sunglasses in the different nail polish colors to present all 12 vibrant colors from the Mexico City collection to match the painted nails. With the question – “What color do you see the world in today?” the community was encouraged to do the same. Meava Buono and Andrea Antenore could not decide on one color and painted a rainbow on their fingernails according to the motto “let’s make our world colorful again!

Through creative and inspiring content, the Creators were able to successfully draw attention to the new collection and with the DIY raffle set as a gift to a follower, offer an additional little joy for everyday life.
